Professional Experience and Licensing
Mr. Sciamarelli has been actively engaged in the construction industry since 1974, including both commercial and primarily residential design, cost estimating and construction of both new homes and home remodeling. He has been a registered builder and registered home remodeling contractor with the state of New Jersey throughout most of his career.
Mr. Sciamarelli has been actively involved with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), The New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA), The Shore Builders Association (SBACNJ), and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
For nearly 30 years Mr. Sciamarelli was actively engaged in operating one the nation’s top remodeling companies, a Qualified Remodeler Top 500 residential remodeling company located in New Jersey.
Starting in the early “90’s Mr. Sciamarelli was an editorial consultant for Building and Remodeling Magazine as well as an advisor and at one time the publisher of one of New Jersey’s leading residential, construction related, trade publications.
Mr. Sciamarelli’s vast knowledge and experience in residential construction, cost estimating, and product information is utilized throughout the industry including educational seminars with the country’s leading remodeling contractors.

Mr. Sciamarelli has testified as a construction expert for Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla, P.C.
He has consulted as a construction expert for several Law firms, Architectural firms, and Certified Public Accountants in the state of New Jersey.
Mr. Sciamarelli has also represented many homeowners and testified in several New Jersey municipalities as an expert assisting in variance, planning board and historical board approvals.
